Mayo contractor gears up for business with Komatsu excavators

Mayo civil engineering contractors Wills Bros Ltd of Foxford has secured a number of major contracts for which the company has invested in the purchase of three new mobile excavators.
For flood relief works on the River Fergus in Ennis, Co. Clare, the company has purchased a new Komatsu PW 160-8 mobile excavator. A second unit has been purchased to carry out a road realignment project at Castletownroche in Co. Cork.  The third will go into service on the Ballaghaderreen by-pass in Co Roscommon.

As one of the country’s leading civil works contractors, Wills Bros maintains a fleet of 80-100 machines. Projects handled by them include development of the M3, M4 and M6 motorways, the Gort to Ennis M18 road project and the new Longford bypass.

All supplied by Komatsu distributor in Ireland, McHale Plant Sales of Birdhill, the newly-acquired excavators are the first three of their kind to go into service in Ireland.
